Day 01 :

Arrival in Arusha – Leisure at Your Pace

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your professional safari guide will warmly welcome you and ensure your belongings are intact. You’ll receive refreshing bottled water or a soft drink before a private transfer to your lodge in Arusha for an afternoon of rest and acclimatization.

Enjoy the lush gardens and tranquility of your lodge as you settle in for your first night in Tanzania.

Day 02 :

Tarangire National Park – Baobab Valley and Elephant Herds

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, home to over 500 bird species and one of Tanzania’s largest elephant populations. Its iconic baobab trees and the perennial Tarangire River attract abundant wildlife including lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, and even the rare fringe-eared oryx and wild dogs.

Enjoy game drives across golden savannahs and a scenic picnic lunch near the river.

Day 03 :

Lake Manyara – Birds, Flamingos & Cliffs

Depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a lush sanctuary beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The alkaline lake attracts flamingos, spoonbills, and pelicans, while dense woodlands hide elephants, baboons, and tree-climbing lions.

After a day of game viewing and birdwatching, continue to Lake Eyasi for your cultural immersion.

Day 04 :

Lake Eyasi – Hadzabe & Datoga Tribal Immersion

Rise early and join the Hadzabe bushmen, one of Africa’s last hunter-gatherer tribes. Go on a real-time hunting walk with bows and arrows, learning how they track prey and live off the land. Later, visit the Datoga blacksmiths, known for handcrafting arrows and jewelry using traditional fire-forging techniques.

This is a profound day of cultural connection, storytelling, and living heritage.

Day 05 :

Ngorongoro Crater – A Living Eden

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and wildlife paradise. This natural amphitheater shelters the Big Five, as well as zebras, hippos, jackals, hyenas, flamingos, and hundreds of other species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool and continue your exploration before ascending the crater walls and driving back to Arusha.
