3–Days Kondoa Rock Art Tour – Culture, Heritage & Highland Scenery

3 Days 2 Nights

Overview

Venture off the beaten path on this 3-day cultural discovery through Tanzania’s central highlands, where the awe-inspiring Kondoa Irangi Rock Paintings tell visual stories of spiritual life, community, and survival dating back over 2,000 years. Nestled along the steep eastern slopes of the Great Rift Valley, these ancient artworks remain one of Tanzania’s most sacred and least-explored World Heritage treasures.

Curated by Kilimanjaro Vista Safaris, this itinerary offers a rich mix of archaeology, landscape beauty, and cultural encounters, ideal for heritage lovers, scholars, photographers, and curious explorers seeking to walk among Tanzania’s oldest known art galleries.
