Itinerary

Day 01 :

𝖣𝖺𝗋-𝖾𝗌-𝖲𝖺𝗅𝖺𝖺𝗆 𝖳𝗈 𝖲𝖺𝖺𝖽𝖺𝗇𝗂 – 𝖢𝗈𝖺𝗌𝗍𝖺𝗅 𝖥𝗂𝗋𝗌𝗍 𝖤𝗇𝖼𝗈𝗎𝗇𝗍𝖾𝗋𝗌

Begin your journey with a morning pickup from your hotel or the airport in Dar-es-Salaam. Travel north along the coastline, passing fishing villages and glimpses of the ocean, as you make your way to Saadani National Park (approx. 4.5–5.5 hours).

Arrive in time for lunch or refreshments at your mid-range lodge. In the afternoon, set off on your first game drive through Saadani’s coastal savannas. Spot wildlife such as giraffes, reedbucks, waterbucks, and warthogs all set against the sound of crashing waves nearby.

Return to your lodge for a warm dinner and an evening of ocean breeze and bush ambiance.

Day 02 :

𝖲𝖺𝖺𝖽𝖺𝗇𝗂 𝖲𝖺𝖿𝖺𝗋𝗂 – 𝖥𝗋𝗈𝗆 𝖡𝗎𝗌𝗁 𝗍𝗈 𝖡𝖺𝗒

Rise with the sun for a full day of exploration through Saadani National Park. With your guide, journey across diverse habitats from open plains and acacia woodlands to mangrove-lined riverbanks and quiet beaches.

Enjoy a bush breakfast or picnic lunch near the Wami River, where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and a rich variety of water birds including kingfishers and African fish eagles.

The second half of the day allows time for quiet moments along the coast, where elephants may roam near the sand and buffalo tracks appear along the tide. After a magical day, return to your lodge to relax by the bonfire and enjoy a starlit dinner.

Day 03 :

Enjoy a relaxed morning with coffee by the ocean or one last short game drive, depending on your departure schedule. After breakfast, begin the return journey to Dar-es-Salaam, arriving in the afternoon.

Your driver will drop you at your preferred hotel or the airport for your onward journey. If time allows, we can include bonus stops along the way for photos, refreshments, or local interaction.
